Oh Yet again, A Pastoral Administrator is "Installed"

In breaking news....from Dr K reported over on Rich Leonardi's Ten Reasons blog:

The Bishop will be installing another Pastoral Administrator in a special Mass... err, 3 Masses this time?

Nancy DeRycke will installed as P.A. of Good Shepherd. If you don't remember, G.S. is one of the capitals of liturgical abuse in our diocese, and is led by a Women's Ordination Conference member (just like a certain St. Anne leader).

Article: "The “Good Shepherd of the Diocese of Rochester” will be joining us for all Masses, March 14-15, to encourage us on our way and to formally install Nancy as Pastoral Administrator."

Some interesting questions:
-What is the deal with these installation Masses?
-Why is Nancy DeRycke being installed 7 months after Sr. Sobala if they were both assigned to their positions at the same time?
-Why are they having an installation ceremony if there is a chance the community will have a new leader in a year or two when the three Rush/Henrietta parishes are clustered under a single leader?

This is a really bad precedence...so what's next woman's ordination. This adhoc ritual is damaging to real ordinations and vocations. This is NOT what we need.
